Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting for long periods of time, some standing, stooping, bending and reaching is required and may require lifting up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate and computer and telephone as well as normal range of hearing and vision. Qualifications: Strong interest in health promotion. College level education or work experience equivalent. Knowledge and work experience in a medical setting. Strong math skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with medical coding and insurance applications is a plus. Strong computer skills needed with both Windows and Macintosh computer software. Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain strict patient confidentiality, have good communication skills and be motivated to work independently with minimal supervision.
